The DysFunktional Family Vacation - Album Update

As a musician, there's nothing quite like the feeling of creating new music. All the hours of writing, rehearsing, and recording finally come together in a cohesive body of work that represents your artistry and creativity. And that's exactly where we find ourselves today, in the midst of creating our latest album, "The DysFunktional Family Vacation."

We have fully written nine songs for the album, with four songs fully recorded and the rest still in the process of being recorded. It's been a challenging journey so far, balancing our other responsibilities with our passion for music. But we remain committed to the project and excited about the final product.

The title of the album reflects the themes that run throughout its nine songs. It’s an attempt to return to our roots after working on our last two albums, which found us exploring a bit of a different style. At the same time, the “vacation” is a nod to this being our first album where we have taken a step back from the instrumental production, with all the beats being produced by Tommy Leatherman (TiZ).

We began working on the album nearly a year ago, writing the songs, drawing on our own experiences and emotions to create lyrics and melodies that we felt spoke to the world around us. Some of the songs came together quickly, while others required more time and effort to get just right.

Once we had the songs written, we began the recording process. We set up  our recording space in our production room and got to work laying down tracks. It's been a challenging process, but also incredibly rewarding as we see our songs come to life in a way that we never could have imagined.

Creating an album is a long, but fulfilling journey. It requires dedication, hard work, and perseverance. But we know that the final product will be worth it. We're excited to share "The DysFunktional Family Vacation" with the world, and can't wait to see where this journey takes us next.
