We are excited to announce that we will be performing on Fat Tuesday at Casa Cantina. That's March 1st. We will be playing alongside our great friends, Larry Elefante, so it's sure to be a jamming party. It's an interesting combination of musicians with something for everyone. And believe me, we know how to keep a party rocking! More information will be released soon about it, but this is from the first announcement from Larry Elefante:
I keep teasing and talking about it but pretty much one year ago today, we set out to record six songs in honor of Tito and our then canceled Mardi Gras celebration during the pandemic. We recorded these remotely in kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, back porches and home studios for the love of music.
I was unable to mix the songs and put them out in time last year, nonetheless the ever-amazing Eddie Ashworth and I were able to get them mixed remotely on a 10 hour session just days ago. He’s a boss.
The songs and artwork are uploaded, it will be streaming across all platforms, CDs are gonna be for sale and we hope you are prepared for this year‘s upcoming Fat Tuesday celebration in Athens with The DysFunktional Family. Details coming soon!
So long story short, I’m going to just keep teasing and talking about this until it’s released. Please stay tuned and buy some King Cakes.
